West Texas Wildfires
As we all know, Wildfires are sweeping across our precious Texas rural real estate. There are reports of over 1.5 million acres that have burned as of today, 4/21/11. These fires have threatened not only ranch and farmland but have even caused the evacuation of some small towns like Strawn Texas. As we all, here in Texas know, we do not want to loose Strawn. Otherwise where are we going to get a Chicken Fried Steak the size of a small truck tire? All kidding aside, this is a serious situation and we would like to help in any way that we can. Please if you are in the area, keep the fires to a minimum and be careful when you are driving near the problem areas. Most deaths that occur when dealing with wildfires are caused by people getting lost in the smoke near the fire. Keep a safe distance, make sure you have a foolproof way out, and pray for Mary’s Cafe.
